Greg & Angie Balman
Greg and Angie Balman originally met in their first grade class of 10 students and were married fourteen years later. Growing up in a rural community in the “Heart of America,” they both come from a heritage of hard-working farm families. After earning a full-tuition basketball scholarship out of high school, Greg pursued a degree in Turf Management which led to a successful 20-year career as a Golf Course Superintendent and most recently the role of Vice President of Development for an award-winning private golf club. His wife Angie, who holds a degree in Interior Design, turned her efforts toward “domestic engineer” after the birth of their first child.
Passionate about intentionally discipling their own children in the ways of the Lord, the Balman’s chose to home educate their children and have been doing so for the past decade. Their passion for personal, life-on-life discipleship ignited when, as a result of their own struggles, they sought help through a discipleship counseling ministry. The outcome of that experience has led them to take a step of faith as they embrace a new season of their life journey and engage full time Discipleship Counseling Ministry in order that others may know spiritual renewal in their own life.
The Balman’s have been married for 24 years and enjoy hiking and the outdoors, summer vacations in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks. They reside in Monument, CO with their three children: Tucker, Olivia, and Paige.
